Do you still remember that we've mention that our blog is not only about orangutans? Well, today we're going to talk about one of the sibling of orangutans, 'Bonobo'. Bet you didn't heard it before, well you can visit http://www.worldwildlife.org/species/finder/bonobo/bonobo.html this link to know more about Bonobo, but in our blog, we're just going to tell you about the important facts of it to make you understand much easier :]

What is Bonobo?

Bonobo is one of the endangered species which is rarely known by human beings. Well, bonobo looks alike with the chimpanzee, covered with black fur and turn to grayish in aged but bonobo has longer legs, shorter arms and a narrower trunk. It is smaller with a rounder skull and flatter face. One more thing is that they have black face with red lips, pretty creepy... XD ...

Scientific name for Bonobo is Pan Paniscus. Their habitat are the same as the orangutans' habitat, that's why it's called the 'related siblings' of orangutan, they are located at Central Africa, that's why it's rarely known in Asia. Their ecological region is the Central Congo Basin Moist Forest.

We guess these are the important facts about Bonobo. Stay updated with us next time to know more about other endangered animals or u can leave a message at out shoutbox to know more info about the other endangered animals.
