Welcome

welcome to our blog
If you view our blog, that means you are interested with flora and fauna and helping them prevent from extinction. There are many wild animals out there are in danger of extinction. Such as Panda, Tiger, Rhinoceros, Orangutan, and lots more. These animal are under the protection of WWF. We as human being should take care and help these animals because we want our future generation to still able to see these beautiful animals.

isn't he cute??XD

Today's issue is about Orangutan a.k.a. Pongo Pygmaeus. On this earth, there are only around 20, 000 of Orangutan left. There are only two places that still have Orangutan that live wild in the jungle which are Borneo and Sumatra. It is so important to protect Orangutan because they are unique to this part of the world and it is our resposibility to ensure that they are still around for the next generation.

Hunters are one of Orangutan's biggest enemy. These hunters will catch them silently and sell it all around the world for fortune. They don't really care about their extinction because they are selfish human being. As long there is a way to make fortune, they will do anything
even though it will cause this species to be extinction.

Jungle or more specific, Rain forest is one of the most important habitat for Orangutan. Nowadays, most of the rain forest are converted to plantations or deforestation by human being. That's why the percentage of this endanger animal increases so high from the past 2 years.

We really hope you all will help us to protect these wild animal. Help us by supporting us and joining our activities and awareness campaign that we're having. Thanks to those who are protecting these endanger animals.
